Thanks again for your fine hospitality while we were at Anishinabi! Can't believe I hadn't been there with the crew for six years...I had forgotten how beautiful and great it is! We all had a great time and enjoyed the variety of weather! We made it home just fine, although we had about a two-hour wait at the border. I have attached a couple of pictures from our trip and in fact I'll probably just send four or five at a time so the email isn't so big. I love the picture I took on Isabelle of the sunrise at 5:30 a.m. that morning...sure was peaceful and nice over there! Hopefully I'll be back next year along with my four sons!

Just a quick line to say thanks for another great week of fishing and Sunset Lodge hospitality. I'm attaching a photo of Mike K. with his 45 1/2" northern caught on a leech harness, .....( Mike also brought in two 39" pike). Thanks again for a first rate week of fishing at WRC. We are thankful for the trolling motors. They worked very well. Fishing was the more consistent this year than any other despite the mixed bag of weather. The conservation efforts are definately paying off. There were days when we would catch 10 slot fish before catching an eater, but we always had more than enough 16s and 17s for fish fries. With all those slot fish out there, fishing should only improve. On the way home, we briefly tried to figure out the best day of fishing and had difficulty because they were all great. We seemed to be able to find good fish about any time we wanted. The group also appreciated your help with Lake Trout. You guys really go all out to make it a good trip and it is always appreciated.

My trip to Wine Lake was a life altering experience. Whether it was the primitive setting, the commune with nature or just the good fishing and stories, Wine Lake Camp is one vacation I would enjoy taking for the rest of my life!"

"The view of "Welcome Rock" pretty much says what we felt the week we were there. The extremely clean cabin with the clean crisp sheets on the bed, and the shiny floors really impressed us. The well stocked kitchen with the 3 iron skillets really made us feel at home too, and you just can't say enough about the sunrise and sunset as you sit on the camp swings."

Just wanted to let you know what a great time we had staying at Sleepy Dog Cabins this year. The fishing was fantastic. We landed a 28" and 30" walleye the first 1 1/2 days we were there. The numbers of walleyes caught by us (4 boats) was unbelievable. We easily had 50 walleyes per boat per day if not more!! This is the first year staying at Sleepy Dog and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for treating us like one of the family! Thanks from all of us (Tim, Wyatt, Troy, Casey, Jeff, Steve, Joe, and my self) for a most memorable Canada fishing trip.

Our stay at Rocky Shore Lodge was absolutely great! We appreciate all of the hospitality you have given and the personable touch that makes the difference! As we look over the past week, the weather was so nice and the wind calm. Fishing was a little tough but we caught over 200 fish – still! Our highlights were two huge walleye, 3 very nice smallies, 1 very thrashing pike and several nice perch. Abby and the humming birds were such a treat. All the wild life was terrific . . . we've never seen so many Eagles as we did this time. Thank you very much for making our stay so nice and comfortable. Take care and we'll see you next year!
