"The view of "Welcome Rock" pretty much says what we felt the week we were there. The extremely clean cabin with the clean crisp sheets on the bed, and the shiny floors really impressed us. The well stocked kitchen with the 3 iron skillets really made us feel at home too, and you just can't say enough about the sunrise and sunset as you sit on the camp swings."

Just wanted to let you know what a great time we had staying at Sleepy Dog Cabins this year. The fishing was fantastic. We landed a 28" and 30" walleye the first 1 1/2 days we were there. The numbers of walleyes caught by us (4 boats) was unbelievable. We easily had 50 walleyes per boat per day if not more!! This is the first year staying at Sleepy Dog and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for treating us like one of the family! Thanks from all of us (Tim, Wyatt, Troy, Casey, Jeff, Steve, Joe, and my self) for a most memorable Canada fishing trip.

Our stay at Rocky Shore Lodge was absolutely great! We appreciate all of the hospitality you have given and the personable touch that makes the difference! As we look over the past week, the weather was so nice and the wind calm. Fishing was a little tough but we caught over 200 fish – still! Our highlights were two huge walleye, 3 very nice smallies, 1 very thrashing pike and several nice perch. Abby and the humming birds were such a treat. All the wild life was terrific . . . we've never seen so many Eagles as we did this time. Thank you very much for making our stay so nice and comfortable. Take care and we'll see you next year!

If I recommend a resort to anyone it will be North Star Lodge. First class place. We caught 185 walleyes over 22" and probably 150 were over 25". Biggest was 29 3/4". Thanks again

Rob, this was, by far, our best Canadian fishing trip ever! The service we received was fantastic, from housekeeping to personal launching/docking, from new customer guide service to free fish cleaning; everything was first class all the way. Our unit was immaculately clean, beds were extremely comfortable, and ceiling fans in every room were a life-saver! Our view was perfect and daily towel service was an appreciated added bonus! Your grounds were simply beautiful and well maintained. You provide the newest and most efficient boats/motors. After fishing off a 17-1/2 ft Lund with a 40 hp Yamaha 4-stroke engine with newly mounted easy-to-use trolling motors, live wells, fish locators, with all necessary equipment supplied free of charge, it's difficult to go back to our "normal" set-up! We were all pleasantly surprised at the boat house/office and it's use of a computer, gift shop, fresh popcorn/coffee, TV to watch, and to simply sit, lounge and converse - what a great idea! I wanted to take a moment to tell all of you: "WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME WE HAD WITH YOU ALL AT CEDARPOINT." I really mean that. You know Rich and I have been coming up there for quite a while and it was Mike's second year, and EJ's first, and everything was great, once again. The highlight, of course, was Mike's 10 pound walleye. Fishing with us at Cedarpoint seems to be his good luck charm, considering the big walleye this year and the biggest in his life, 39 1/2 inch, 20 pound northern, last year. But the thing that most amazed me was the fact that we caught so many big fish this year. 25, 26, 27 inch walleyes, fish after fish. As I have told you in the past Pat, it really is a thrill to release thos big 'eyes. I think this demonstrates that our skills are improving with repetition, you and Wayne continue to share valuable information on the current Hot-spots, and I believe we are seeing the fruits of the Ministry's slot limit.
