Thanks again for your fine hospitality while we were at Anishinabi! Can't believe I hadn't been there with the crew for six years...I had forgotten how beautiful and great it is! We all had a great time and enjoyed the variety of weather! We made it home just fine, although we had about a two-hour wait at the border. I have attached a couple of pictures from our trip and in fact I'll probably just send four or five at a time so the email isn't so big. I love the picture I took on Isabelle of the sunrise at 5:30 a.m. that morning...sure was peaceful and nice over there! Hopefully I'll be back next year along with my four sons!

Hi, Paul and Deb We had a great time again this year. Like every year the fishing just keeps getting better. Also just like every year the camp gets better, fish locators in all the boats, more shore spots, improvements to the cabins. We are surprised and impressed every year. Dad and I smoked lake trout yesterday. We thought it turned out pretty good. We will have it with everyone this weekend and talk about this year’s trip some more. When you get a chance, I know you are real busy this time of the year, please send me a copy of the bill so I can send in that paperwork I have to send in. Thanks . My trip to Wine Lake was a life altering experience. Whether it was the primitive setting, the commune with nature or just the good fishing and stories, Wine Lake Camp is one vacation I would enjoy taking for the rest of my life!"

If I recommend a resort to anyone it will be North Star Lodge. First class place. We caught 185 walleyes over 22" and probably 150 were over 25". Biggest was 29 3/4". Thanks again

Rob, this was, by far, our best Canadian fishing trip ever! The service we received was fantastic, from housekeeping to personal launching/docking, from new customer guide service to free fish cleaning; everything was first class all the way. Our unit was immaculately clean, beds were extremely comfortable, and ceiling fans in every room were a life-saver! Our view was perfect and daily towel service was an appreciated added bonus! Your grounds were simply beautiful and well maintained. You provide the newest and most efficient boats/motors. After fishing off a 17-1/2 ft Lund with a 40 hp Yamaha 4-stroke engine with newly mounted easy-to-use trolling motors, live wells, fish locators, with all necessary equipment supplied free of charge, it's difficult to go back to our "normal" set-up! We were all pleasantly surprised at the boat house/office and it's use of a computer, gift shop, fresh popcorn/coffee, TV to watch, and to simply sit, lounge and converse - what a great idea!
