About

Harald and Ann Lohn’s KaBeeLo Lodge and Resort is comprised of a Main Base and an expansive network of 13 pristine Vacation Lakes – all with breath-taking views – and all with fully-equipped private lakeside cabins, docks, and boats. These unspoiled jewels of nature are perhaps the premier fishing, hunting, and family vacation spots in North America. Located centrally to both the United States and Canada, KaBeeLo is located in Northwestern Ontario and offers value-priced vacation packages aimed at a broad range of vacationers. Whether outdoorsmen, families, scouts or honeymooners, every KaBeeLo visitor will enjoy the unspoiled beauty of nature – an experience they will cherish for a lifetime.

Fishing at KaBeelo Lodge

At KaBeeLo we like to keep things clean and simple. Our fly-out package rates apply to ANY of our remote outposts, enabling you to experience ALL of our cabin outposts for the same price – regardless of the distance from our main base. If that isn’t simple enough, all your FOOD IS INCLUDED!

KaBeeLo Lodge has been providing the best full service “fly-In” walleye and pike fishing adventures in Ontario Canada, at prices to accommodate any budget, for over 42 years. The distances from our main base are long enough to experience the thrill of a float plane, and short enough to get you fishing sooner than later. We say with confidence that KaBeeLo Lodge has “the best walleye and pike fishing in NW Ontario Canada”.

We also offer a “Fishing Honeymoon” package for the couple desiring the most private and romantic setting imaginable. You get a well-appointed secluded cabin on your own private lake in northern Ontario Canada. Imagine starting your marriage in the middle of nature but with modern day conveniences on a remote lake accessible only floatplane. Here you will enjoy the true peace and quiet of Mother Nature and get your marriage off to a truly spiritual start.

Hunting At KaBeelo Lodge

We have over 180 square miles for bear, moose and grouse hunting, guided or unguided. All our hunting packages include free fishing should you choose to do so… and tasty culinary preparation for your enjoyment. Our lodge chefs can cook your game meat or fish however you like for a truly tasty meal. We can either use your favorite recipes OR you can collaborate with our chefs and experiment with their favorite recipes. As we like to say here at KaBeelo “Half the fun of Hunting is Eating!”

For Bear Hunters, we offer 2 packages customized to your needs. With an abundance of black bears – numbers estimated at 75,000 to 100,000 – Northwest Ontario offers some of the most promising hunting opportunities for this big game animal. For those wanting a first class bear hunt experience, KaBeeLo Lodge offers a “Main Base” or a “Fly-Out” bear hunt package. Package rates are based on a 2 person minimum.

KaBeeLo Lodge has been offering moose hunting opportunities for more than 41 consecutive years. Our continued success is due to an excellent staff of seasoned guides, remoteness of the hunt areas and a high concentration of animals. These moose hunts are perfected in every way, all you have to bring is your weapon of choice and purchase an Ontario moose-hunting license.

If you are into small game and want a relaxed Ontario bird hunting experience? KaBeeLo Lodge offers some of Northwestern Ontario’s best ruffed, sharptail and spruce grouse hunting from mid-September through the end of September. With an abundance of birds and plenty of Canadian boreal forest, power lines and clear-cuts in which to hunt, daily limits of grouse will not be hard to come by. Our lodge chefs can cook them up however you like for a truly tasty meal.
